I forgot to post about Dan Frey's new work which premiered last week for which I did sound design. The run was very short so unfortunately you can't go see it. But it went really well and I was very happy with the final product. More importantly I was very impressed with the way Dan's work translated to stage. The play is about artificial intelligence (but not robots) existing as computer programs. Do to the nature of the piece it was very difficult to read through, but the translation to stage was beautiful. You can check out the theme I wrote for the piece here.
Stray Cat's production of Speech and Debate opened last week too. This one is still open and a great one to go see. I was able to help them as Music Director, although I had little to do cause they were fantastic. It's a very funny show that I recommend for any of you PG-13 crowds. Info is here.
